Richard BurtDirector of BandsMr. Burt has been a part of GISD for 17 years. He began his career as the band director for sixth grade at Greenville Intermediate (now Sixth Grade Center). From 2007 to 2018, Mr. Burt served as assistant band director at Greenville High School. In the fall of 2018, he became an assistant principal at KGJ STEM @ Crockett.
Mr. Burt earned a bachelor’s degree in music education and a master’s degree in educational administration from Texas A&M-Commerce. He and his wife Nikki, a former Lion Pride Band Drum Major, have four children, Eli, Noah, Jonah, and Emma. |
Marina Coronado
Marina Coronado is the Assistant High School Band Director and is currently in her third year of teaching. She graduated from West Texas A&M University where she studied under Helen Blackburn. During her time there she participated in Flute Studio Ensembles, was a part of the Concert band, and the Sound of West Texas Marching Band. Prior to teaching in Greenville, she was the Assistant High School director at Lamesa High School where she conducted the non-varsity band. |

Luke DaileyMiddle School DirectorLuke Dailey is the band director at Greenville Middle School. Mr. Dailey graduated from Texas A&M University-Commerce with a degree in Music Education. He enjoys both music performance and education and is currently a cornet player in the "Dallas Brass Band", a British style brass ensemble based in the Dallas area. Prior to teaching in Greenville, Mr. Dailey taught private lessons for several years and was a band director at Agnew Middle School in Mesquite, Texas.

Kelsey MatticeMiddle School Assistant DirectorKelsey Mattice is the Assistant Band Director at Greenville Middle School and is currently in her fourth year of teaching at Greenville. She currently plays flute and saxophone as needed in the orchestra for Greenville Family Theater, playing in shows such as their productions of "Newsies" and "Mary Poppins". Prior to teaching in Greenville, Ms. Mattice studied Music Education at Texas A&M University-Commerce. While there she participated in the flute choir, wind ensemble, and “The Pride” Marching band on flute, piccolo, and Color Guard.

Siana Harris has been apart of the Greenville marching band since 2020 as the color guard instructor. Siana has taught guard at several schools in East Texas and participated in "The Pride" marching band at Texas A&M University-Commerce as a member and camp counselor.
Siana has two boys who you will often see supporting the marching band along with her husband, Marcus.
