Are you a 5th Grader looking to join Band? We're so excited to help you pick an instrument!

The definition of band is a group of musicians who make music together. In 6th grade Beginning Band, you’ll have the opportunity to learn a new instrument, make friends, and create memories you will never forget! You don’t have to have musical experience to join.

You’ll get to choose between several instruments, including : Flute, Oboe, Bassoon, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Baritone, Tuba, and Percussion. The class you are placed in will be determined by the instrument you choose -- you will be grouped with the same instrument so each of you can focus on the specific challenges that come with the instrument. Your class will be taught by a band director who plays your instrument and wants and help you grow. You will participate in two concerts in the winter and spring where you will combine with ALL classes to play music!
